vicinity of a superb sandy bathing beach.

Junkön has a permanent population. There is an Archipelago
Museum and a windmill, of unknown age, and an old
archipelago homestead.

Rödkallen
Far out to sea, in the outer limits of the Luleå
Archipelago you will find Rödkallen Island, the last
outpost before crossing the gulf to Finland.

Kluntarna
On the island of Kluntarna in the Luleå Archipelago the
town council runs a small holiday village with two
four-bed cabins, a six-bed cabin, a wardens’ cabin, as
well as a sauna and relaxation room, and an information
centre.

On Småskär, you will find numerous bays, old forests, flat
rock slabs, tarns and other interesting landscape

Hindersön
Hindersön has a permanent population, and in the 1940s
about 100 people lived on the island. Worth seeing: The
scenery, Jopikgården and the old mine.

Brändöskär
Worth seeing: The chapel, the Haparanda monzonit rock that
forms the shore rock slabs, the island’s fascinating
scenery. Ola Taube, an artist from Luleå, lives on
Uddskär, which is a part of Brandöskär, during the summer.
